Sturgis, Hunt & The 3 Tramps

One of the finest books on the JFK assassination is Coup D'Etat in America, by Alan J. Weberman and Michael Canfield, a book that presents the evidence that two of the three "tramps" arrested in Dallas on November 22 are E. Howard Hunt and Frank Sturgis. The evidence is pretty compelling to me. The third, they suggest, may be a figure known as Daniel L. Carswell. The case on this one is less convincing. For the record, I've seen pics of Woody Harrleson's dad Charles (who has claimed he is one of the tramps), and he does look a lot like tramp number three. (Strangely - or not so strangely - an A&E channel TV-special titled The Men Who Killed Kennedy argued he was the Sturgis tramp.)

All of this is made more intriguing by the fact that the 3rd tramp is often referred to as "Raoul", and is a bullseye for the King assassination suspect circulated by the police after MLK was killed. The recently deceased James Earl Ray would later claim he was set up by a man named "Raoul". Is this a coincidence, or a tip-off that the same force (i.e. the Shadow Government) was behind both hits?

In any case, the photo matching done by Weberman and Canfield is superior to that done by the feds: check out the following picture which they claimed was Oswald in Mexico.

Yeah, right. Neeless to say, we highly recommend that you purchase Coup D'Etat in America - and while you're at it, visit Alan Weberman's website.
