Popular Paranoia

Book Review

by

Jaye Beldo

The best of Kenn Thomas's Steamshovel Press, one of the most potent rags around, can be found within the covers of Popular Paranoia chock full of articles, letters and interviews with such outlaw luminaries as William S. Burroughs, Timothy Leary, Allen Ginsberg and others. Get the scoop on just about every unsavory ploy imagined, real and somewhere in between in this timely and conspirational anthology. Popular Paranoia serves as a much needed reminder that the world of alternative 'zines , not to mention the vibrant underground they come from, is alive and well in a revolutionary and sustainable way. If you are looking for some politically viable option to the corporate pablum being churned out by the media whores and their overpaid pimps, I suggest ordering Popular Paranoia ASAP. I particularly enjoyed the articles on Rajneesh, Elizabeth Claire Prophet and Uri Downbenko's interview with John Coleman author of Conspirator's Hierarchy: The Story of the Committee of 300. I actually found out why I never liked The Beatles very much: they were possibly a product of the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations who used the confabulated four to stimulate drug usage amongst American youth (Rock n' Roll as a Tavistock plot). Coleman describes Theo Adorno's experiments with Baal-inese music of a discordant, atonal nature which would make people who listened to it disoriented, a necessary prerequisite for MK of various kinds. Apparently Adorno had access to sensitive information describing this form of manipulative music conjured by the Baal priesthood, tucked away in the British Museum and was commissioned by the Committee of 300 to 'prepare the way for their huge drug invasion of America.' Intrigues like these abound in Popular Paranoia. I suggest ordering a copy pronto if you want to be in the conspiratorial know in a subversively fashionable way. Kenn Thomas has been in the conspiracy trenches longer than practically anyone so do him a favor and order his compelling anthology today!

Through Ancient Eyes

Book Review

By

Jaye Beldo

Feeling a bit helpless watching the New World Order command the planet if not the entire Milky Way galaxy? If so, I suggest taking a look at Through Ancient Eyes by artist/writer Neil Hague. His book abounds with creative, heart-centered options which we can use to derail the fear-based agendas of both human and non-human conspirators alike (check out his drawings of the reptilian entities and 'game masters' controlling politicians/media figures.) The author reminds us that imaginal engagement with the archetypes at large, connecting with the dreamtime, primarily via art, can help us break through the spiritually, politically, even biologically retarding 'matrix' which currently pervades our world . Doing so can help us reclaim our multi-dimensional, interconnected selves currently occluded by the 'consensus reality' engineers of a three dimensional variety. Citing potent and catalytic examples from Hopi Blue Star prophecies, Navaho creation myths and the works of visionary artists/poets such as William Blake, Hague eloquently suggests that we can expand our capacities to see, feel and hear realms deliberately kept out of reach, primarily by considering the possibility of art being used as a ' psychic tool'. Most welcome are his suggestions on how we can enhance our intuitive abilities to actually see the unsavory if not scaly conspirators who often shroud themselves in the lower astral plane or what is called the 4th dimension and conduct their ongoing manipulations undisturbed. There is a nice balance between his descriptions of the malefic cabals currently in operation as embodied in Freemasonry, the Bilderberg group, NATO and other institutional 'shadow realities' as he so aptly calls them and creative responses (as an option to mere reaction) to these impositions and encroachments upon our freedom. In the words of Alexander Solzhenitsyn: "Artists can do something more: they can vanquish the lie." Hague reminds us that there are many ways in which we can shine light of truth upon these inhibiting pervasions/perversions using the Central Sun within our own hearts. For this reviewer, Hague's creative approach to conspiracy is a most refreshing alternative to the default gloom and doom program currently promoted by the corporate media system and elsewhere. Through Ancient Eyes should inspire even the most dimensionally resistant soul to open up to more benign and sumptuous realities currently convening/integrating on our imperiled planet, urging us to adopt a more positive and life affirming course of proaction if we are effectively thwart the powers that be.

The Shadow Government:

9-11 and State Terror

Book Review

by

Jaye Beldo

In The Shadow Government: 9-11 and State Terror recently published by Adventures Unlimited Press we are given ample opportunity to study the sordid and manifold intrigues of various terrorist states as embodied not only in the ersatz Bush administration, but in Caesar's Rome, Churchill's England and elsewhere. Len Bracken and Andrew Smith, conjoin their talents, with obvious political sophistication, to remind us that not all acts of terrorism originate from marginal realms as the global media Moloch would like us to believe. The authors provide an impressive historical overview of state sponsored terrorism, backing up their Machiavellian claims that violence on a grand scale is often used to further preserve/promote the bottom line agendas of the ruling class. Citing incidences such as the sinking of the Lusitania, Pearl Harbor, the Oklahoma City Bombing(s) and of course the premiere act of terrorism of recent times: 9-11, it is most encouraging that these conspiracy researchers are dedicated to exposing the ongoing, high level transgressions perpetrated by the state. Such a command of historical facts as well as a facile talent for weaving cohesive, potentially indicting arguments together makes this book a worthwhile read indeed. I'll be amazed if the publisher isn't ordered by the feds to shred all existing copies of The Shadow Government because of the ultimately incriminating data within. Just imagine members of the Supreme Court being handed copies of this potentially incendiary book by some courageous renegade lawyer and watch how much trouble the almighty nine have glossing over administrative crimes with their glib rhetoric. The knees of the media giant itself if not the government it lies for may start buckling if The Shadow Government starts to get the mainstream scrutiny it deserves.

The Thresher's Homeland Insecurity Issue is Out!

After my extensive travels of recent times, I was delighted to find a review copy of the second issue of The Thresher in my pile of mail when I got home, floating amidst scientology literature, New Age book catalogues and other wayward trash. This 'fiery new political magazine' as Esquire has aptly called it contains some of the most controversial writing of recent times and paging through it has been most refreshing to this rather jaded karma yogi/book reviewer's eyes. Authors such as James Bamford (Puzzle Palace and Body of Secrets), Douglas Rushkoff the cyberculture critic, Michael C. Ruppert and others are contained within its pages beckoning to inspire you to become politically aware if not overtly engaged with the world at large in a hip kind of way. R.U. Sirius the former editor of Mondo 2000 and Getting It comes forth once again, combing talents with David Latimer and writers such as Robert Sterling, Jason Lubyk, Todd Brendan Fahey and others to create a defense the All Star state will eventually have to reckon with.
