Here's a weird one: We came home from a music show last night and our fax machine was holding an incoming ("incameing"?) fax: ISSUE RESPONSE FORM FOR THE GOOD OF THE COUNTRY SHOLD VICE PRESIDENT AL GORE CONCEDE? Please indicate your choice by filling in the bubble and faxing this ballot to the number below. There is an almost confusing Yes/ No fill-in space (a joke in itself) and a request to "make copies of this form and fax it to friends and colleagues." There follows a couple of quotes from Senate Democrat Tim Daschle and James Baker about the usual shit. Then there is an age/ sex/ marital status/ Home ownership/ mortgage/ income/ political party fill-in section. What I found interesting was not the fact that the question was LEADING, but the address of the polling company "Digital Recall." They're located in LITTLETON, COLORADO. Is Digital Recall a subsidiary of Lockheed, or another defense company contractor which controls the town? |
